You know the ones I’m talking about, the ones that make you cringe as soon as their said. I don’t know what it is about offices but they breed stupid phrases. Maybe it’s because they are full of people with very little else to do except thing them up!
Anywhere, I thought I’d start a list of my the most annoying phrases. There are so many that I doubt I’ll be able to think of them all now, but I’ll start this blog post and add to it as I think of more and more.
- ‘It’s worth asking the question’ It’s said with such superiority. For some reason people who make this statement think they have reason to be smug about clever use of language. It’s not. Stop it
